Christmas came a little early this year...

Went on a little trip to Japan this year and bought some jewellery parts and findings there. I barely scratched the surface of the many many beading shops there. Would love to go back there one day to buy more stuff.

This little guy was one of my finds there. Did it up as simple mis-matched dangly pair of earrings. No prizes for guessing what I would be wearing to this year's Christmas parties/events :)

Janette $16

Handmade clay rosettes with baby pink centres wired to light blue brios. Perfect for a garden themed party :)

Kimi $18

Long and slim, Kimi is simplicity and understated elegance. Made of freshwater pearls and smokey quartz swarovski crystals. It can be worn with a classic dress to any function. This is one of my personal favourites.

Niagara Falls $28

This is a piece that I did for myself...
I bought a blue cheongsam to wear for Chinese New Year. With such a high collar, there is no necessity of a necklace. However, among my accessories then, there were no earrings that could have complemented the dress.
Hence, I put my hands to work and came up with this. Quite some work given the amount of Swarovski crystals & pearls dangling from the earrings.
I used a pair of earring posts with crystals laid out in the design of flowers. At the end of the earrings are 2 lovely blue faceted glass brios.
This pair of earrings is definitely a stunner.. dangling at a length of 7.7cm, they are bound to draw anyone's attention and present a cool lovely sensation alike to that of the waterfall...

La Petite $14 (SOLD)

Hi all,

Sorry for the long radio silence. Between our day jobs and all the other bits and bobs, we haven't really had time to work on new creations... :p We do have lots of new ideas tho, just need time to execute them!
Meantime, here is a little something I did awhile back for a weekend fair. A simple butterfly charm and czech glass brio combi. Great for daily wear. You can mix and match between the 3D butterfly charm or the 'flatter' pewter butterfly with either the red or black brios.

Missa $20

A totally elegant and sparkly pair of earrings. (Sorry due to bad photography skills, the shine doesn't really show but trust me, they are really sparkly in reality!)

Made entirely from Swarovski components. Square donuts in light silver, topped off with bicone crystals ranging in shades of clear to greys to blacks. Drop of 4cm.
Versatile enough for the LBD or any party dress in ur wardrobe. :)

Longing $18 (SOLD OUT)

Decided to try my hands at mismatched earrings after so long.. A cute little giraffe on one side and the other, a gold-plated flower, lead and a trail of coral, freshwater pearls and clear Swarovski crystal ending with a lovely dark red Swarovski drop.

Great for CNY and for weekends! See the way the giraffe look longingly at the flowers on the other side?? :pp A totally fun yet cute piece!

Freedom $20

This pair of earrings is made of 2 lovely gold-plated curvy frames.. I absolutely love these frames.. hanging from the earwires, they will move with the wearer.. swirling around with much grace. I had previously made another design with these frames for a friend.. and when she put it on, I just couldn't keep my eyes off the movement of them!
Hence, decided to make a pair for myself too.. Themed it with pretty garnet rounds and trailed some 14K-goldplated chains from it...
Freedom to move... Freedom of art... Freedom of speech.. Bold and daring with a touch of grace...

For My Bridesmaid and Flowergal

Decking out my flowergirl and bridesmaid in pink crystals and pearls, 2 of my favourite things! :)
Top: For my pretty flowergirl who is so excited about being part of the bridal procession :) Kept her bracelet girlie and suitable for a young gal with the dangling of white clay roses with pink centres at intervals. A very labour-intensive piece of work but well worth the look of pleasure on the little gal's face when she saw her pretty bracelet.
Bottom: A whole set of accessories for my bridesmaid. Kept it simple in line with her outfit, so as not to overwhelm. Missing from the pic is the bracelet, done up in much of the same style as the necklace.

Hearts of Lace $18

Pretty heart shaped frames that looked like they have been edged with lace. Dangling from the frame are freshwater pearls and a minty green glass brios, giving it a refreshing appeal.

Charlotte $24

This pair of earrings is a bit pricey compared to the rest.. mainly because of all the materials used. Lovely tensha beads with vibrant pics of vivid roses, 14K plated rings. 14K gold-plated ladybirds are added for a hint of playfulness. Moonstone opal strips and a dark blue crystal drops all the way from Japan.
All the goodness, and hence, the price.
Pretty yet fun pair of earrings.. stands out yet not over-powering..

Charlene $20

Smooth lavender amethyst rectangles , peach freshwater pearls, white seed pearls, Swarovski crystals... and of coz, 2 beautiful mulit-faceted pink brios hand-carried back from Japan. This pair of earrings is all about simplicity and elegance... The brios really enhance the beauty of the earrings when they reflect light.. with the clear cool sweet pink...

Renee $22

This pair of earrings speaks volume.. Detailed, intricate turquoise resin flowers form the focal point with 2 Swarovski pearl cores. 2 metal floral frames form the body and it ends with a pair of lovely turquoise blue Czech glass brios.
Measuring 7cm from the leverback earhooks, this pair is definitely a head-turner.

Regal NOW $12.80 (Was $18)

A truly unique piece since I "created" a metal frame by joining 2 metal filigees together - a beautiful flora one on top and a 3-hole one as the lower piece. Peachy freshwater pearls and a pair of gorgeous multi-faceted maroon glass brios with swirls dangle from the 2 frames.
Feminine-looking yet radiating a sense of 'royalty'.. this pair measures 6.5cm from the ear wires.

Peaches and Cream $16

This is kinda of a 'back to basics' creation. Swarovski pearl in light cream rose dangles at the end of a chain and topped off with peachy pink round coral beads. 3.5cm drop from the earwires.

Simple and yet elegant. This is definitely a keeper. I think I will add a pair to my own personal collection :)

China Blue $20

Coin-shaped polymer clay beads featuring blue flowers on a silvery grey base. These beads are handmade by Charlene from the Tinkle Art Room.

These beads are so pretty by themselves that I decided to keep the design simple. So I have just added Swarovski crystals in shades of blue to compliment the blue flower motifs and the bling to compliment the base colour of the bead. Kidney earwires are used for the added length and a touch of elegance.
