Jubilee $29 (1 pc only)

I had a hard time deciding what to do with this very pretty pendant.. bursting with vibrant colours, comes with 4 crystals inlaid in a curve and a little butterfly sits at a corner.
Finally decided to theme it with something that will contrast the vibrancy of the pendant and display it to the fullest. Smoky quartz chips and 2 clear quartz carved flowers flank the pendant and the chain ends with a dragonfly toggle.
Just the item to jazz up plain clothes.

Danellea $35 (1 pc only)

Another vintage piece. This one shows a decorated cameo of a sweet demure lady holding her hands in a clasp. There are 2 pretty brass roses wired on the side of the pendant. A floral charm and a pretty little crystal (again, bought from Japan) dangle from the pendant.
This necklace is slightly long - one side of the chain comes with onyx beads and elongated gold beads with rutted lines on them. The other side is made up of a unique chain with various links to create an interesting effect.
A totally unique and pretty piece :)

Audrey (SOLD)

This is a totally beautiful piece. I wanted so much to keep it for myself. However, I decided to release it at the SMU bazaar though. Great that it went to a very nice lady - sister of a fellow vendor, Agnes. Agnes' stall was right beside mine.. and she really has some amazing stuff.. selling those little clip-on accessories for clogs and those cute watches with holey straps. Think it's a fairly new concept in Singapore.. hence, not much penetration for her products yet. Nevertheless, Agnes, do persevere! Btw, your 2 baby boys are totally adorable! :)
This vintage piece has a picture of Audrey Hepburn on a floral pendant has a focal. A brass rose and beautiful glass brio (hand carried from Japan) dangle from the pendant. The chain is made of 2 different types of chains to give it some variety. The hook used is actually a floral S-hook.
Since we're talking abt the hook, I must confess that there is some manufacturer defect with it. Nothing irks me more than buying something back and realising that it is defective. This pretty but useless hook will actually break if you bend too hard. I really must apologise for this. I absolutely have no idea this hook is such a filmsy one. Pls be assured that we try our best to ensure that our creations will not break easily with normal wear. However, I guess at times, we are unable to help it if it's a manufacturer defect. The only saving grace is that I've only sold 1 or 2 pcs of creations with this ridiculous hook. Hence, for the 2 ladies who bought the necklaces with this hook, kindly let me know if you had encountered this issue. I'll replace it for free. Much apologies on this.

Hearts of Lace $18

Pretty heart shaped frames that looked like they have been edged with lace. Dangling from the frame are freshwater pearls and a minty green glass brios, giving it a refreshing appeal.

Charlotte $24

This pair of earrings is a bit pricey compared to the rest.. mainly because of all the materials used. Lovely tensha beads with vibrant pics of vivid roses, 14K plated rings. 14K gold-plated ladybirds are added for a hint of playfulness. Moonstone opal strips and a dark blue crystal drops all the way from Japan.
All the goodness, and hence, the price.
Pretty yet fun pair of earrings.. stands out yet not over-powering..

Sherry $18

A rather simple pair of earrings: Swarovski blings right on top and 2 sweet pretty cherry quartz carved flowers at the bottom. Hanging from kidney wires to provide a bit of length and swaying effect.
Looks simple but has a rather charming effect when worn.

Charlene $20

Smooth lavender amethyst rectangles , peach freshwater pearls, white seed pearls, Swarovski crystals... and of coz, 2 beautiful mulit-faceted pink brios hand-carried back from Japan. This pair of earrings is all about simplicity and elegance... The brios really enhance the beauty of the earrings when they reflect light.. with the clear cool sweet pink...

Bag Charm (Code: H09) $10

"Hearts & Spheres" -- This bag charm carries with it a "glam" factor.. Imagine matt gold hearts, copper and bronze beads with a pearly sheen and some gold and silver "metallic" textured beads...all hanging from 4 separate chains that meld together to form a nice cluster...
Goes really well with beige, white or black bags..

Bag Charm (Code: H08) $10

A pretty pink flower right at the top. Add in some pretty acrylic beads that are flat rounds or spheres... Throw in a couple of faux pearls and viola! A pretty creation to jazz up that bag.. This bag charm really lends some cheer and adds a fun factor to an otherwise plain or "boring" bag...

Renee $22

This pair of earrings speaks volume.. Detailed, intricate turquoise resin flowers form the focal point with 2 Swarovski pearl cores. 2 metal floral frames form the body and it ends with a pair of lovely turquoise blue Czech glass brios.
Measuring 7cm from the leverback earhooks, this pair is definitely a head-turner.

Regal NOW $12.80 (Was $18)

A truly unique piece since I "created" a metal frame by joining 2 metal filigees together - a beautiful flora one on top and a 3-hole one as the lower piece. Peachy freshwater pearls and a pair of gorgeous multi-faceted maroon glass brios with swirls dangle from the 2 frames.
Feminine-looking yet radiating a sense of 'royalty'.. this pair measures 6.5cm from the ear wires.

Bag Charm (code: G07) $10

A "butterfly princess" creation. I really love these pewter butterfly charms (that why u see me using them so often!). And what other colour suit a princess better than pink. So beads and "bell flowers" in shades of pink complete this pretty bag charm that is fit for a princess!

Bag Charm (Code: G06) $12 (SOLD)

A "roses and butterflies" combination. This bag charm is anchored by a heart shaped tensha bead and ends with a trail of butterflies. Looks great against a black bag.

Peaches and Cream $16

This is kinda of a 'back to basics' creation. Swarovski pearl in light cream rose dangles at the end of a chain and topped off with peachy pink round coral beads. 3.5cm drop from the earwires.

Simple and yet elegant. This is definitely a keeper. I think I will add a pair to my own personal collection :)

Ballerina Necklace (customised)

After seeing the bracelet Ballerina, a client asked me to customise this necklace as a gift for her friend who dances. Other than using the same ballerina charm and shoe, I've also added in an extra dangling crystal. Hence, you see 1 red and 1 black crystals swaying at the bottom. I've also added 2 floral beads to connect it to a different brass chain. I've also changed the original toggle used in the bracelet to a pretty flora S-hook.
One of my colleagues saw the end product. She immediately ordered 2 more pcs - 1 for her niece who dances ballet and 1 for either herself or a gift to another friend.

Bag Charm (Code: H05) $10

A "lock & key" combination. A heart shaped lock dangles right at the top of the bag charm. Coupled with gold keys, faux pearls, "bling" beads and a black drop at the bottom, this charm has a "detailed" look. This picture is taken flat.. hence the effect of the charms and pearls falling nicely is not shown.
Approx length of 5-6 inches.

Bag Charm (Code: H04) $10

A "butterfly & lace" combination. A ring made of faux pearls with a butterfly dangling from it. 3 strands of acrylic beads and bellflowers dangle from the keychain to create a cascading effect. Again, a nice fat drop is right at the bottom to create the additional bling effect.
About 6 inches, this bag charm is great with bags in white, beige, different shades of blue and yellow.

Bag Charm (Code:H03) (SOLD OUT)

Doesn't this remind you of strawberries and cream?
This bag charm is made of a yummy golden strawberry, faux pearls in peach, yellow, white and gold colours and a mega transparent flat brio. Approximately 5 inches in length, it will definitely jazz up the look of any white, red or black bags!

Honey Drops ("S" Edition)

This is the 925 silver version of Honey
Drops. There are 3 reasons why I called this the "S" Edition:

1) The lady who commissioned it is called Sally

2) It is done in 925 Silver

3) A special edition

The colours of the accompanying pearls are peach instead of bronze that were used in the original Honey Drops. Thought that it would go better with the bright silver chain and create a softer look.

China Blue $20

Coin-shaped polymer clay beads featuring blue flowers on a silvery grey base. These beads are handmade by Charlene from the Tinkle Art Room.

These beads are so pretty by themselves that I decided to keep the design simple. So I have just added Swarovski crystals in shades of blue to compliment the blue flower motifs and the bling to compliment the base colour of the bead. Kidney earwires are used for the added length and a touch of elegance.

Miss Buttons $14 (SOLD)

Buttons! A fairly unusual material for jewellery making but it certainly ups the fun quotient ;)

A collection of buttons makes up this really petite and lightweight creation. Slightly embellished with some Swarovski crystals.
A really fun piece that is suitable for younger gals to wear.

Emelia $32 (SOLD)

A double-tiered necklace.. I've done this quite some time back and kept forgetting to post it. A lovely tensha pendant coupled with coral, black czech glass and red Swarovski crystals. A dark red Swarovski brio dangles from a silver chain to form the upper tier.
A necklace that is bold and sophisticated, yet the rose tensha pendant lends a a touch of feminity to it .
One of my colleagues saw this before I had the time to post it up.. and I've decided to "usurp" her name for it since hers is a pretty one and somehow, it seems to fit this necklace perfectly: her dressing is also one that is bold and sophisticated :))

Ballerina $22

A bronze coloured charm bracelet made up of thick and thin chains. Dangling from the thinner chain is a dancing ballerina, a ballet shoe and a red Swarovski crystal with a bead cap. A really elegant and sweet bracelet.

When worn, the charms and crystal will dangle and sashay whenever the wearer moves. Toggle clasp.

To see the charms in details, just click on the picture for enlargement.

Something Unpleasant

Something unpleasant happened yesterday. I felt that I had to let people know of the whole incident...
1) Last Fri, we bought some of our accessories to show our colleagues.
2) One of my colleagues, who was also a fellow crafter and had her own website for biz, saw my Honey Drops, and tried it on.
3) Seeing her keen interest and being fellow crafter and colleague, I offered to sell to her just slightly above cost price. She declined.
4) On Tue, she wore a necklace that was almost the same design of Honey Drops (well, except maybe she used Citrine and something else) and "paraded" around the office in it.

Well.... this person did not ask for permission at all whether she could replicate the design. She simply just copied the whole thing. One may ask though, why would this girl be so silly and wear it to office to show all other colleagues, especially when one of them was the original designer? Is it simply bochup or thoughtlessness? To show that she doesn't have respect for others? Or simply to show that she can copy designs as and when she likes it, especially since she does not have much creativity? Well, it may also not help to let others know that she has a habit of wearing the pieces of accessories she made for some time prior to selling to others.

There are so many of such accessories-makers out there.. it is hard to remain original especially since the more we see, the more easily influenced and inspired we are by others. I cannot claim that I've never been influenced by the designs of others. However, let's have some decency and not just copy wholesale, ok? Infuse some originality into your own creations.. if not, what is the joy of doing such handmade accessories when it is meant as a portal for creativity and self-satisfaction?

Aphrodite $30 (SOLD)

Aphrodite... the classical Greek goddess of love and beauty. This particular piece reminds me of that..

A long necklace with a cameo showing the portrait of a lovely lady. The cameo sits in an ornately designed vintage pendant. 2 golden czech glass leaves and a jet black teardrop dangle from the pendant. Connecting the pendant are 2 different types of bronze chains with 2 floral bars and rose balls connecting them. (Click on the pic for a clear look on the details.)

The clasp is an S-hook with a flower carved on it. The length of the chain is 56 cm. This necklace will look great with a simple top. To really carry out the Victorian look, wear it with a high-collared lacy white/black top.

Madonna (customised order)

This is a customised order from my friend who wanted a rosary as a present for her aunt.
To cater to her request of it being sweet, I've themed Swarovski pearls with cherry quartz chips. A lovely translucent bead with a pink rose serves as the Father bead. At the end of the Mary medalion, I hung a lovely pink rose bought from Japan. The cross is an ornated one and the toggle of the bracelet actually has some nice floral design on it.

The 2nd picture shows how Madonna looks like when worn - the cross and medal will dangle nicely from the hand.

Jernine $22 (SOLD OUT)

2 beautiful black tensha balls with striking yellow roses. "Old gold" flowers connected to elegant smooth black agate flat teardrops. A lovely combination that hang 6 cm below the ear wires.
It took me a while to decide if I should add in the tensha beads. Without the beads, the floral connectors and the agate drops will look clean and sophiscated. With the beads, there is a slight oriental touch to it.
Do let me know if you want them without the tensha beads. The price will be $19 without the beads.

Honey Drop $32

The pictures really don't do justice to the beauty of this necklace. A big lovely Swarovski teardrop crystal is the focus of this piece. A little topaz in colour, it catches light beautifully.

Strung on an 18K gold plated necklace with has a little design - at every regular interval, there is a tiny gold ball to break the monotony of the chain. Dainty bronze Swarovski crystals and pretty little glass brios complete the look. There is a motif of a little golden leaf (brought from Japan) connecting the crystal and the chain.
For 18K gold-plated chains, the colour and shine will last a long time if you take proper care of them. Take note never to let perfume gets on it. After each wear, use a soft cloth to wipe it and the brilliance will last for some time.
The chain is 46cm in length. It is meant to be slightly longish and looks amazing with a low neck evening dress.

English Rose $22 (1 pair only)

I just got back from a trip in Japan.. There were some really really nice accessories shops there! I ended up spending a bit there.. but not too much.. coz in Japan, they rely too much on the yen and very few of the money changers do SGD to yen.. mostly USD. So.. in the end had to give up quite a lot of stuff.. just in case I end up cashless there!

That said, will post some of the stuff that I bought from Japan from time to time. The first in this series.. lovely pinkish polymer teardrops created by Charlene, strung delica beads and vividly carved pink roses from Japan sit on top of the combination.

A really sweet piece.. and I chose to adopt the same name Charlene used - English Rose. A feel of romance and sweetness. The polymer teardrops are really lovely.. with an amazing burst of colours.. The earrings measure 4 cm from the ear wires.

Emma $16 (SOLD)

Clay roses with lilac centres are attached to round filigree frames. Czech glass beads in pink and light turquoise complete this creation.

I imagine this would be perfect for a garden tea party or a garden wedding :)

S's Private Order

My friend, S, wanted a sweet and pretty bracelet for someone. So I made a potpurri of something in soft shades of purple and pink.

Materials used include handmade clay lentils, fluted agate beads, purple african jade in puffed oval, freahwater pearls and pink czech glass beads. All hardware in 925 silver.
What I love about this piece is no matter how the bracelet sits on yout wrist, there is something pretty and interesting to look at!

Misty $35 (SOLD)

Hi folks, it's been awhile...but it has been sheer maddness at work recently.

Anyhow, been wanting to do this piece for awhile and finally had sometime for some creative work. Using, misty grey cat's eye ovals that has a faceted cut which really reflects light well, I have teamed them with a puffed oval tensha bead that sits to the side and black faceted czech glass beads.
Necklace length is about 16-17 inches.

Malt Candy (NOW: $32, Was $42) (1 pc only)

Smooth red aventurine nuggets form the essence of this necklace.
Also known as the "whisper stone," red aventurine is a dyed gem and is said to increase the energy level of the third chakra. It also is believed to help the feminine reproductive system, fertility and childbirth.
To break the monotony, I've used some little "cinnamon" aka copper spacers. 2 beads made by Ade sit on the side - nude coloured lentils with some purple designs with red and white swirls. Rather than to steal the limelight, these lentils serve to accentuate the 'earthy beauty' of this piece. Separating the 2 lentils is an antique looking rose bead.
Total length of 17 inches. With the special dragonfly toggle that was used in another creation earlier on (Beauty Beauty). 1 piece only. Absolutely no remake.

Cherry Blossoms (NOW $38, Was $48) (1 pc only)

Another necklace creation of a double-sided pendant designed by Ling. 2 pieces of angbaos featuring the different Chinese sayings: On 1 side, it depicts a picture of a flower in full bloom: 富贵花开 。

On the second side, it shows a tree filled with mandarin oranges.. and in Cantonese, mandarin oranges mean "kam" aka gold: 金橘满堂 .

With sweet colours of the pendant, I've decided to go for a soft and demure look by using smooth cherry quartz nuggets. With metal filigee beads as spacers and a unique floral clasp, the length of this necklace is about 16 inches. Size of the pendant is 2.5cm.

Only piece and absolutely no remake.

Jermaine $20 (SOLD)

A pair of polymer clay beads that I've got Ade to specially customised for me. Swirls of blue hues, white and dotted with silver sparkles and 2 sweet pinkish flowers embellish the top. Dangling below are various shades of Swarovski crystals (aquamarine, midnight, sapphire, black diamond, montana) with a little freshwater pearl.
A pair of turquoise glass brios dangles at the bottom, bringing the length of the earrings to 4cm below the kidney wires (6cm if inclusive of the earwires).
A demure yet unique looking pair of earrings.

Tricia (NOW $38, Was $48) (1 pc only)

A chain of beautiful and vibrant round smooth stones that hardly need any embellishments. If I were not wrong, these little beauties are candy jade -- natural, hard white stone that has either been dyed a solid, vibrant color or has been covered with bright splotches of dye. The colour of these stones is permanent and has been irradiated.

Just to make it a bit more interesting, I've used Toho matt gold plated seed beads as spacers and sitting on 1 side, 2 gold-plated swirls flanked the size of a beautiful polymer clay bead specially handmade by Ade. On the other side is a gold-plated ring to balance it up.

Measuring 20 inches, it is meant to be slightly longer and worn over your top.. Just the sparkly beauty to draw attention to you! Toggle closure which is in the design of a rutted ring with a little heart sitting on top of the toggle. Only 1 piece. Absolutely no remake.

Empress Cixi NOW $30 (Was $45) (1 pc only)

A necklace made of smoky quartz chips and some red ovals (I really cannot remember the name of these stones but they look pretty much like red jasper with their natural inclusions). 18-inch in length and hanging off the centre is a special 2-sided pendant, made by Ling, a local designer. She framed 2 pcs of angbao papers with glass and the result is a square pendant measuring 2.5cm.
Comes with a heart-shaped toggle closure.

This is the first among a series of such pendants made by Ling.
A bold piece, injecting a modern look into something so oriental such as angbaos... 1 piece only. Absolutely no remake.

Chelsea $24

Using the same polymer clay beads as Adele, this time the beads are teamed with turquoise rondelle crystals and purple 'white jade'. All metal parts are 925 silver.

Only 1 pair is available. :)
